Portland Pet Food Company was founded by Katie McCarron in 2014 for her family´s senior Standard Poodle, Rosie, who had always struggled to eat and was ailing. Katie began cooking fresh, human-grade meals at home with 11 simple ingredients and Rosie lived another 1.5 years to the age of 16. PPFC manufactures human-grade, shelf stable pet meals, and dog biscuits in the United States made with 11 or fewer ingredients that are all sourced and grown in the US. Proudly a female-founded, family-owned company that is a member of the Pet Sustainability Coalition, Specialty Food Association, and WBENC.
